Mary Richardson
When Mary Richardson was diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome, she found herself unable to control or move any part of her body. She utilized her eye movements to communicate her needs.
Mary came to Ambassador Health of Omaha and began an extensive rehabilitation program. With determination, a lot of hard work, and a rehabilitative team that was unwilling to give up on her, Mary found herself slowly regaining the ability to control her own body again.
One tool that Mary utilized was the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill. Thanks to its precise unweighting technology, the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill provides a safe, effective way for patients to rehabilitate lower extremities while improving mobility and strength.
Mary has successfully completed her rehabilitation and is happy to once again be in her own home, living life as she does it best.
