Position: Scheduler Specialist (Nurse)
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift (Monday through Friday)
Compensation: Based on experience

Duties:
- Create monthly schedules for all team members taking into consideration team member availability and skillset
- Fill all daily unassigned shifts with the best suited and skilled team member available to meet the needs of our residents.
- Anticipate and fill open shifts as they occur to prevent staffing shortages.
- Participate in the orientation of new team members.
- Welcoming family, visitors, and vendors to our facility.
- Work well with all team members.
Experience:
- Minimum of LPN license required.
- 1 year experience as a scheduler in a healthcare capacity.
- Computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Scheduling software experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the skilled nursing home industry preferred.
- Customer service skills is a must.

Duties:
- Provide operational support to the facility Administrator
- Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
- Overall support of the nursing department
- Plans and organizes activities related to specified clinical services to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with professional standards of medical and nursing care and facility administrative procedures
- Provide input on, and support for, the implementation of strong clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care
- Supports the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving medical management processes throughout the communities and market by coordinating and engaging in activities to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices
- Formulates budget based on appropriate workload indicators and anticipated revenues in conjunction with Administrator. Monitors and controls department costs to maintain expenditures within allocations.
- Evaluates current and potential residents and patients to determine and maintain living center's ability to provide appropriate level of care
- Monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards
- Function as a clinical resource to the nursing team
- Direct or conduct recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical personnel
- Provide training to staff nurses to promote performance improvement
- Provide support during the survey process including pre-survey preparation and developing performance improvement plans post survey if necessary
- Collects, reviews and analyzes clinical outcome data and determines trends. Brings identified concerns to the Administrator and/or Corporate Director of Nursing.
- May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Registered nurse license as required by State regulations
- CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening

- 2-3 years of leadership/management preferred

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Duties:
Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers
Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
