Through our partnership with DCL - Dialysis Center of Lincoln - we provide hemodialysis services on-site for those with end-stage kidney disease and/or acute kidney injuries.  

Hemodialysis is a procedure in which a dialysis machine equipped with a special filter, called a dialyzer, is used to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood.  The filtered blood is then returned to the patient.  In most cases, travel to an outpatient dialysis center is needed to receive treatment which can be a significant burden to patients and their support systems. 

Through our innovative partnership with DCL, there is no need for our rehabilitation residents to travel outside of our facility to receive high-quality dialysis care. This allows our residents to maintain a normal rehabilitation schedule, including appointments, meals, and activities, in order to return to their homes a soon as possible.
