Lincoln, NE - Ambassador Health, a local, family-owned rehabilitation center, has expanded its Lincoln campus and is hosting a community open house on Thursday, October 4th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The open house event will celebrate the campus’s 2,900 square foot addition to the front of the building. The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony during the open house at 4:00 PM. The festivities will take place at 4405 Normal Boulevard.
For over four decades, Ambassador Health has provided post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care to patients recovering from injury or illness. In an effort to continually exceed its patients’ expectations, Ambassador Health has undergone several stages of renovation and expansion, with the most recent project providing a face lift to the front exterior and interior of the building. The expansion includes a covered drive up and patient drop off area, heated sidewalks, nurses’ station, and family and patient gathering space.
“This expansion enhances our in-patient nursing and therapy teams‘ ability to continue providing the highest level of rehabilitation and recovery possible for our patients,” stated Timothy Juilfs, President of Ambassador Health. “With its conclusion, Ambassador Health’s campus now includes fully remodeled private patient suites, a 2,800 square foot therapy gym featuring the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill, multiple dining areas, patient and family lounge and game room, spa, and beauty salon.”
The community open house will include tours, gourmet snacks, refreshments, and giveaways.
