Messiah Taylor- Pediatric Success Story

For the Taylor family, the holidays will be more joyous this year!

Messiah started life much differently than other children. Messiah was born with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, a serious condition that affected his lungs and resulted in Messiah being placed on a ventilator and having a tracheostomy to assist with his breathing.

After spending nearly 5 months in the neonatal intensive care unit at Children's Hospital and Medical Center, Messiah transitioned to Ambassador Health Pediatrics. Through Ambassador Health Pediatrics, a combined effort and specialized approach with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, and social workers, Messiah was able to successfully transition home.

“I was recommended to Ambassador Health Pediatrics by the NICU staff as a way receive quality care and training. My ultimate goal was to transition my son home. After research, I decided this is where my son needed to be.” Says mother Tiaona Taylor.

“Ambassador Health provided hands on training to not only myself, but to my family members. I truly felt that Ambassador Health Pediatrics set us up for success. In the year and a half my son was there, I watched him thrive!”
